Introduction
The throttle is a controllable valve that controls the air entering the engine. After the gas enters the intake pipe, it will be mixed with gasoline to become a combustible mixture, which is burned to form work. It is connected with the air filter on the top and the engine block on the bottom, which is called the throat of the automobile engine.
The throttle four-stroke gasoline engine is roughly like this. Throttle is one of the most important parts of today's EFI vehicle engine system. Its upper part is the air filter air compartment, and the lower part is the engine block, which is the throat of the automobile engine. Whether the car accelerates flexibly or not has a lot to do with the dirt on the throttle. Clean throttle can reduce fuel consumption and make the engine more flexible and powerful. Whether the throttle should be removed and cleaned is also the focus of more discussions among car owners.
Classification
There are two types of valves, traditional cable type and electronic throttle. The traditional engine throttle control mechanism works by connecting a cable (soft steel wire) or a lever with one end connected to the accelerator pedal and the other end connected to the throttle linkage plate. The electronic throttle mainly uses the throttle position sensor to control the opening angle of the throttle according to the energy required by the engine, thereby adjusting the amount of intake air.
